First Fête de la Musique in Dallas

Friday, June 21 2024, at The Wild Detectives, marked the first-ever Fête de la Musique in Texas!

Organized by the Alliance Française and The Wild Detectives, the evening featured 3 hours of free live music. The performances included Poppy Xander (Dallas-based pianist, composer, and singer), Catherine Swindle (soprano with a rich and colorful tone, praised by Opera News), and DJ Elkin Pautt & El Nick (a rhythmic journey blending the sounds of Africa and Latin America).

It was a memorable celebration of music!
